That pisses me off!!!! The nerve of those judges not to pick Miss Philippines to be #1. Don’t they know that hundreds of fat, balding, middle aged Americans flock to the Philippines in search of the most beautiful women on the planet. Not to mention the fact that these desperate men also look at hundreds of BEAUTIFUL FILIPINO WOMEN on internet dating sites. Since that is the case shouldn’t Miss Philippines win the pagent every year?
And the nerve of the pagent to not pick a winner from the Philippines in OVER 30 years makes my blood just boil! =P
Her answer was not good enough for the judges. Yes, she’s very beautiful, poised and she also brought filipinos together..
However…
She’s now a laughing stock on twitter, facebook and other social networking sites.
Here’s what she said: “You know what, Sir in my 22 years of existence I can say that there is nothing major major, I mean, problem that I have done in my life. Because I am very confident with my family, with the love that they are giving to me. So, thank you so much that I am here, thank you thank you so much”
What she said is true. She is young and she is going to make mistakes. I think her answer is one of those mistakes. She has more years to come, her answer will soon shape her to become a better person, WITH or WITHOUT the Miss Universe crown.
. I really think that she is nervous.. well, who wouldn’t be? Being the 4th runner-up is a (no mockery intended) ‘MAJOR’ deal
I’m just happy that she was in the top 5. She stood up and made Filipinos proud. That’s some good news for the Philippines. The news has been very depressing lately. Maria Venus Raj became a silver lining.
AND! I really think that those “beautiful filipino women on dating sites”… or “ordered brides”..should not be used as a yardstick or a standard of beauty and honor.
